Inspired by the qualities and chroma of digital art, I began, several years ago, experimenting with phosphorescent and luminescent acrylics and inks in the hope of allowing my paintings to achieve the 3-dimensional quality often found in most digital media. The result has been a body of work which, under varied lighting, and even in the dark, offer unique and often changeable images with layers of depth that is rarely seen in any two-dimensional static medium.
